The Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched in early 2017, following its predecessor, it is not surprising to hear about the Samsung Galaxy S9, which might hit the stores any time now.

The Samsung lovers are already guessing the features and display of the new phone, but those who are expecting a larger innovation in the upcoming upgraded model might have to face disappointment as Samsung S9, though may be more powerful, may not offer much innovation.

According to the leaked photo of Galaxy S9, there is a back glass with a usual 3.5mm headphone jack. The rumors also say that the screen will retain the Galaxy S8’s 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It might also exhibit the same size as the Galaxy S8, which is 5.8 inches, though as per another rumor, it can be 5.65 inches as well. It may have a curve and may follow Samsung’s tradition of using Super AMOLED, that helps with the vibrant visuals and sharp contrast. The phone may be priced anywhere around £639 / $725 / AU$1200 as per the latest projections. The phone may be available in the market in February or March 2018.

Though there have been no new of any major innovations, the new gadget may come with the in-screen fingerprint scanner, glass coating technology which helps the water to bounce from the screen, and infinity display. The handset is may also introduce many hardware and software upgrades and maybe a new design too.

Talking about RAM, the Galaxy S9 might have 4GB of RAM along with a single lens rear camera, and the Galaxy S9 Plus will have a 6GB of RAM and a dual-lens camera. Both the new Samsung phones will come with 64GB of storage space, and both will allow the addition of the microSD card.

Coming to the operating power, both the new launches Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will have the latest-gen processors. They can be either Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or the Exynos 9810, which is country based.

Hence, in a nutshell, what Samsung S9 will offer us is a vertically stacked camera lens, fingerprint sensor on the rear, and skirting by a flash unit and other sensors. The bottom of the phone will boast of a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The back will have a single camera lens. Galaxy S9 plus might have a dual lens camera. Just like the previous models, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will sport a Super AMOLED Infinity curved, edge-to-edge display. The only difference will be the fingerprint scanner which will be below the camera on the back of the phone.

Earlier the news said that the new handset would be launched at the CES in Las Vegas in the first month of 2018, but now Samsung has accepted that January launch seems unlikely and they may reveal the new handset at the end of February.
